本教材选取最近十几年发行的经典英语电影为案例,从电影视听语言和制作技巧出发,介绍有关电影叙事、色彩、光影、特效、结构、镜头、化妆、服装、音响、配乐、表演、剪辑、导演和主题符号的理论知识和专业信息,多角度解读电影艺术本体;在分析相关电影的基础上,讨论有关国际电影评价标准,进而阐述、剖析影视作品的方法和要领;不仅在理论和专业知识部分融入国内外优秀电影案例,还在课程作业环节里设计专题任务,旨在从理论和技术层面提升和开拓学习者的视域。
